Hello there!

I'm Kate Edwards, the hands behind Quill and Curl Calligraphy. I’m a native of Little Rock, Arkansas with a passion for all things creative, hands-on, and design related. An architect by day, I've always had a deep appreciation for pen and paper and the wonderful things that can happen when they come together.

My interest in calligraphy was born out of a love of stationery and the hand written letter. After making a habit of sending a weekly letter to my best friend throughout college, I began to find ways to add different personal touches. Teaching myself calligraphy was the best way to add a little extra joy to the envelopes while also feeding my art supply obsession.

My love of calligraphy grew from there and in 2017, Quill & Curl was born! Though originally self taught, I have since studied with some of the foremost American calligraphers and am currently a member of The International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH).
